"He is jealous for me.
Loves like a hurricane,
I am a tree,
bending beneath, the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions
eclipsed by glory.
And I realize just how beautiful you are,
and how great your affections are for me.
Oh, how he loves us so,
Oh, how he loves us,
how he loves us so.
He is jealous for me.
Loves like a hurricane,
I am a tree,
bending beneath, the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions
eclipsed by glory.
And I realize just how beautiful you are,
and how great your affections are for me.
And
Oh, how he loves us so
Oh, how he loves us
How he loves us so!
Yeah he loves us!
Whoah how he loves us!
Whoah how he loves us!
Whoah how he loves us so!
We are his portion, and he is our prize.
Drawn to redemption by the
grace in his eyes.
If grace is an ocean,
We're all sinking.
So heaven meets earth
like a sloppy wet kiss and
my heart turns violently
inside of my chest.
I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about
the way!
He loves us! Ohh how he loves us...."
This song is by John Mark Mcmillan. In this YouTube video- ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Chx6s3qXKt4 ) This song is actually for his friend, but John Mark Mcmillan says that he sings it like a worship song. Look at it both ways.
1. Worship song
2. Song for a friend who just died.
You really have to watch the video before you think of this. This won't make sense until you watch it. The video isn't the whole song, but it shows the part where he's talking about this song. This song is so overwhelming. No matter who sings it. Even the worst voice in the world, it's still beautiful.
