Summer Wars memory verses

I like a lot of verses, but these are 15 verses that I have to memorize for church. We're doing this thing called "Summer Wars" and if you memorize the verses you get points. So far, I only need to memorize 6 more verses. Some of the verses come easily to me because when I was in elementary school, we memorized a lot of these for Missionettes.

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 Timothy 4:12
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Romans 3:23
...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God...

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Matthew 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Superhero Declaration!

Need encouragement?

This is something I hang on the back of my bedroom door. It's good stuff.

I am part of the people who are unashamed.

I have the Holy Spirit of the Living God.

The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line.

The decision has been made. I am a superhero.

I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away or stay still.

My past is redeemed. My present makes sense. My future is secure.

I'm finished with low living, sight walking, & tamed dreams.

I'm done with small planning, smooth knees, colorless visions, & mundane words.

I no longer need position, promotion, or popularity.

I don't have to be regarded, recognized, or rewarded.

I now live by faith.

My face is set. My pace is fast. My mission is clear. My goal is heaven.

I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded, or delayed.

With God's help, I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice.

Hesitate in the presence of the adversary.

Negotiate at the table of the enemy.

Ponder at the pool of popularity.

Meander at the maze of mediocrity.

I won't give up, shut up, or let up.

Until I have stayed up stored up, prayed up, paid up and preached up for the cause of Christ.

I am a Superhero for Jesus.

I must go until He comes, Give until I drop, Work until He stops me, Preach all I know,

Love and love and love and love and love and love.

And when He comes, He will have no problem recognizing me.

My logo will be clear.

And by the Almighty grace of and even Mightier God.

I will not be guilty of mediocre service to my Superhero - Jesus.

So what do you think? I got it from a sunday school I visited at my church.
Here's what I think:
Whenever we get into trouble we're always so upset and just calling out for God. There's nothing wrong with calling out for God because he has so much power! But as a Christian, God is in our hearts and in our lives right? (nods head yes) But when we get into sticky situations, it can be easy to blame God especially when we aren't getting anywhere. But if we're being held down, we have the authority to say, "In the name of Jesus, be gone!" You see God said (in Joshua 1:5), "... I will never leave you nor forsake you." And also in Philippians 4:13 it says, "I can do everything through him who gives me strength." So you have the power because we serve an Almighty God! There are going to be hard times, everyone goes through it. But next time you're stuck, don't look at all the things that are wrong, look at how big and mighty God is! If you serve him, then those problems aren't very mountainous, in fact it's like a grain of sand.

Glory to God,

Hebrews 1:3

“The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”- Hebrews 1:3
